Privacy Policy

This page describes the data handling practices of Clash Download Post (domain clash007.com, referred to below as "this site") in the course of operation. The terms are organized into the following sections: scope of application, scope of data collection, visit analytics, cookies and local storage, third-party links, and how the policy is updated. By accessing or using this site, you are deemed to have read and accepted the entirety of this policy.

DOC-01

Scope of Application

This policy applies to all pages under the clash007.com domain, including the homepage, installer page, tutorial page, troubleshooting diagnostics page, FAQ page, project introduction page, and blog article pages.

This policy does not apply to any external websites reached via links on this site. Data handling on external websites is governed by their respective policies; see Section 5 for details.

DOC-02

Scope of Data Collection

This site is a purely static website; page content is distributed as static files. Based on this architecture, the scope of data collection on this site is limited as follows:

  1. This site does not offer account registration or login functionality, and there is no user account system.
  2. This site does not include any comment sections, message boards, email subscription forms, or other forms requiring submission of personal information; it does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other identifying information.
  3. When responding to requests, the server that hosts this site generates standard access logs limited to technical information such as request time, request path, referring page, and browser identifier, used solely to keep the service running and to troubleshoot issues. This information is not used to identify a specific individual.

If you have feedback regarding the site's content, please refer to the relevant entries on the FAQ page and tutorial page; this site does not provide an email contact channel.

DOC-03

Visit Analytics

This site uses a self-hosted analytics tool to understand aggregate data such as page views, traffic sources, and time spent on pages. The purpose of this analytics is limited to evaluating content quality, optimizing page structure, and identifying unusual traffic patterns; it is not used for advertising or building user profiles.

Analytics data is processed and stored in anonymized, aggregated form. This site does not attempt to link analytics records to any specific individual, nor does it sell or share raw analytics data with third parties.

If your browser has "Do Not Track" enabled or you use a content-blocking extension, the analytics script may fail to load; this does not affect the normal use of any feature on this site.

DOC-04

Cookies and Local Storage

The pages on this site do not themselves set cookies for identity recognition or cross-site tracking. Browser storage on this site is limited to the following two categories:

  1. The analytics tool may write a technical cookie used to distinguish visit sessions. Its content is a random identifier that contains no personal information and automatically expires.
  2. Some page interactions (such as tab-switching state) rely on URL anchors rather than local storage, and no data is retained in the browser.

Visitors may clear or disable cookies at any time through their browser settings. All content on this site remains fully browsable and downloadable with cookies disabled.

DOC-05

Third-Party Links

Pages on this site contain links to external resources, including the official websites of various clients, app store listing pages, and open-source project homepages. Once you click such a link and leave this site, subsequent data collection and processing are governed by the destination website's privacy policy, and this site bears no responsibility for their content or practices.

Regarding software downloads, we recommend following these principles:

  1. Preferentially obtain installation files through the entry points listed on this site's installer page or through the client's official channels.
  2. iOS clients should be installed via the App Store listing page; distribution channels of unknown origin are not recommended.
  3. Be cautious of similarly named download sites of unclear origin found in search engines, and confirm that the software name and developer information match before installing.

Policy Updates

This policy will be updated as site features change or relevant regulations evolve. Updated versions will be published directly on this page, with the "Last updated" date at the top revised accordingly; individual notifications will not be sent separately.

Significant changes (such as the addition of new categories of data collection) will be highlighted prominently on this page. Continued use of this site constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Visitors are encouraged to review this page periodically for the latest information.
